The association “Lumières” was created in April 2009.

The scope of the association is to create direct links with determined collectives of developing countries, without any racial distinction or discrimination about religious preferences or political opinions, with aids in order to support their efforts to progress in the cultural and educational sector.
These aids are for now through subscription in private schools of children that were spot in public school where they couldn’t develop their potential fully. A second sector for the future will be helping young adults who have a project by small donations or loans or to help them do a vocational training. All this will help them find a job or start a project which could create further employment.

The statuses of the non-profit association "Lumières" were established according to the concerned measures of the law dated 21/4/1928, with subsequent modifications.
